Frequently Asked Questions

DO YOUR MACHINES WORK?

Of course they do! The last thing we want to sell you is a headache. Yes, they will show signs of normal wear and tear. Every Welder that leaves our shop has undergone a vigorous stress test to confirm the machine can meet demand and perform as it should.

IS THERE A WARRANTY?

It depends. Certain brands we import and stock parts on will have better warranties than other brands we do not. We do offer limited warranties on MIG and spot welders. Check each listing for warranty info.

I’M TRYING TO GET CERTIFIED WITH _____, DOES THIS QUALIFY?

The majority of our welding equipment will meet most OEM spec. based requirements, notably domestic and Asian imports. Certain manufactures are model based. We will do our best to note in each listing what OEM approvals each item has.

WHAT ARE THE POWER REQUIREMENTS FOR A SPOTWELDER?

You will need 3phase 220v power with at least a 60a breaker. We recommend an 80a to be sure you aren’t underpowered at your work area. The location of the transformer in the machines can affect the power draw, hence, some welders require more than others. If you are just getting 3phase power, we also recommend #4 wire. We’ve seen that the #6 wire electricians like to use can struggle to deliver the required power over long distances from the breaker. We also offer new phase converters for sale.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR MACHINES?

We import and distribute welding equipment across the breadth of the US. We take used machines in on trade when our customers are upgrading equipment to meet their needs or OEM standards.

WHAT IF I NEED MY MACHINE SERVICED?

Give us a call. We can service your equipment at our facility or connect you with a local service technician.
